Terms of Service

posted.fyi is an event management platform for independent musicians and live music fans. These terms govern your use of the posted.fyi website and dashboard.

By using posted.fyi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

posted.fyi is currently in beta. That means:

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
• The service may experience downtime
• We may reset, migrate, or restructure data as needed
• We make no guarantees about uptime, data retention, or feature availability

We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data, but we cannot guarantee it during beta. If you rely on posted.fyi for critical business operations, please maintain your own backups.

• You need an account to use the dashboard. Accounts are currently created by invitation only.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person or organization per account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

"Your content" means anything you create or upload — event listings, venue data, business profiles, flyer images, touchpoint notes, and any other data you enter.

• You own your content. We do not claim ownership of anything you create.
• You grant us a license to display it. By posting events or business profiles, you grant posted.fyi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the posted.fyi website and related services. This license exists so we can operate the service — showing your events to the public is the whole point.
• You can delete your content at any time. Deleting an event, venue, or business removes it from public display. To fully delete your account, contact us.
• Public content is public. Events and business profiles you publish are visible to anyone. Touchpoints and venue notes are private to your account.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent event listings
• Impersonate another person, band, or business
• Use the platform to spam, harass, or abuse others
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from posted.fyi
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Resell or redistribute posted.fyi data or functionality without permission

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

• The posted.fyi name, logo, and branding are our property.
• The platform's code, design, and infrastructure are our property.
• Your content remains yours (see Section 4).
• Third-party content is subject to its provider's terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• posted.fyi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless posted.fyi and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

• You can stop using posted.fyi at any time. To delete your account, contact us.
• We can suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. If we terminate without cause, we will make reasonable efforts to let you export your data first.
• Sections 4, 7, and 8 survive termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
